OH MY GOD I HAD A DREAM WHERE JOE BIDEN WAS HOLDING DOWN TRUMP WITH A BAG OVER HIS HEAD AND WAS ABOUT TO BE SHOT BC AMERICA VOTED FOR HIS LIVE EXECUTION BUT BIDEN FINDS OUTTHE LAST SECOND AND PULLS HIS OUT OF YHE WAY JUST BEFORE HE GETS SHOT
2 Star Medic Hellagur with a description like “The feared general of Ursus’ Third Army. Has no medical skills or training. Is armed only with boxes of bandaids and a determination to kiss your booboos away.”
Anyway my suggestion for a low star alternative would be Sniper Akafuyu, Deadeye branch. “For an Operator with barely a meter of usable vision, Akafuyu is remarkably accurate with a crossbow, striking a target almost 10 percent of the time. It is currently unknown who recommended her for crossbow training. If any Rhodes Island employee has any information on this matter, please report to Dr. Kal'tsit’s office.”
2* Swire Summoner. She “summons” random people by telling them she’ll pay them 20k LMD if they bumrush that dude over there.
3* Nian Slow Supporter. Slows enemies down by throwing scrap metal REALLY hard at enemies’ knees.
2* Pramanix Defender. Her shield is just a bigger bell. Makes an increasingly overlapping gong noise whenever she’s hit.
2* W Medic. Throws peeled potatoes at allies and lets metabolism do the rest. Has increased aggro instead because no one can stand her even more than usual.
2* Nightingale Fast-Redeployer. Crashes into enemies wheelchair-first, stunning them and inflicting [Fragile]. Inflicts [Fragile] on herself.
2* Indra medic, punches you and doesn’t get why you’re not healing? S2 she beats you up until you retreat and come back with full health
….messenger’s a new choice lol. is my askbox that hidden now?

Admittedly we only have the one event on the tribes of Sargon, but I love how she clearly pays homage to Muhammad Ali with her fighting style and story, being surrounded by groups physically much more imposing and with strengths that people would think would easily overcome her but surprise!
And while she is incredibly fight-driven, she’s not a punchdrunk idiot about seeking them out. She recognises after time that fighting spontaneously as she might in the forests of Sargon isn’t going to go over as well in Rhodes, same way she learns no, she can’t pick the flowers here, it’s not like the forests.
What she’s good at grasping quickly, is capability. Her own, those of others, her surroundings. She might not be the one Rhodes would turn to for determining policy, nor understand all about what Rhodes does in the first place, but she grasps the excess of ‘thinking’ around Rhodes is necessary because only some people know how to sort it out. And of course she does, because she knows very well how everyone must find their style to utilise their strengths.
And can I add, I legitimately smiled at her skin’s description:
I’m like weirdly proud of this tiny hummingbird’s progression, from someone that is focused on being a warrior to someone that grows on RI - learning a new language, learning new customs and recognising the world outside her tribe and it’s vastness, and then GOING OUT INTO IT with her own will and finding her self in catastrophe management.
I think she’s always been this problem solver, a peacemaker even, but just up until Rhodes she’s made peace with fighting because that’s just how it was in Sargon. Then, during her fresh days in Rhodes Island her random opponents universally were amiable, Flint was totally respectful while, in her own way, getting to know people. And now, she’s been opened up to this huge continent, she can see massive issues, massive suffering and she thinks ‘So what? I’ve always punched above my weight class’ and she steps out into the ring to fight it in whatever way she can, not just because that’s what she is good at, but because she can help people.
It’s just so charming to see this character who is so caring and brave and curious grow from a tiny flower of whoop ass.
I’m like mid? Way through ch9 and I got to the line ‘You drove Simonch City into the lakes, and not a single person got out of that Elafia village’ they’re talking about Firewatch’s village right??
Having thoughts on Pallas and Saga speaking ye oldè englishe at each other. Can’t decide if it’d be funnier if they were the only ones that could understand each other, or if they ended up being confused at each other in their respective ingliśes like if google and Siri were talking to each other
